Da Nang is a city in Central Vietnam, well know for its coastal scenery and beaches. Though it is not as favored by tourists as compared to its counterparts like Ho Chi Minh, Hanoi or Ha Long Bay, Da Nang does has its unique charms. 1. Dragon Bridge
The majestic structure was opened in 2013, and provides direct route from the Da Nang International Airport to the other main roads of the city.
If you happen to be visiting Da Nang during the weekends, be sure to check out the spectacular lighting show on the Dragon Bridge, with the dragon’s head breathing fire and water! The show usually starts around 9pm, so don’t miss it!
2. Marble Mountains
The marble Mountains are a cluster of 5 mountains, each named after an element of the traditional Chinese Astrology: Earth, Water, Wood, Fire, and Metal. The mountains offer an amazing scenic views, along with several “hidden” caves with an array of intriguing carvings and historic pagodas of worship for your exploration.
Do be prepared for some hiking and walking with comfortable shoes and a torchlight. You will probably be walking for at least 4-5 hours if you plan to check out most of the attractions there though.
3. My Khe Beach
White sands, turqoise waters and the refreshing sea breeze: the perfect combination for a relaxing vacation. My Khe beach in Da Nang is renowned for the scenery and coastal getaway. Especially in summer, when the waves are gentle, and the water temperature is just nice for a swim for both adults and kids.
For the more adventurous, there are also a variety of activities available at the beach. If you are looking for a more peaceful time at the beach, head there during the usual working hours, and you will be able to have a nice, quiet time enjoying the sun.
